Celebrate Mysteries of the Unknown

I want to write about uncertainty.
I want to tell you to appreciate it.
I want to tell you to welcome its presence in your life.
I want to tell you it has all the answers you are searching for…

Yet, I am uncertain about what else to write.

3 ideas & 3 questions on uncertainty, from me.

If uncertainty is accompanying you in the middle of a great adventure, you most certainly are headed in a direction you need to go.

  1. Don’t avoid it. Go deeper. Uncertainty is deeply seated in the mysteries of the unknown. When you find comfort in uncertainty, you will find the clarity you are seeking.

  2. Don’t let it stop you. Keep moving. Forward. 20 steps from now you will look back at the one you are stuck on right now and marvel at the ingenuity you used to step past this one.

  3. Appreciate & celebrate uncertainty. In its every form and arrival in your life, uncertainty is a gift, rich with opportunity.

Anyone who has ever accomplished anything well in life, did so with great uncertainty…

  1. Are you truly certain you are uncertain about it?

  2. Where in your life, are you certain you have no uncertainties?

  3. What does uncertainty have to do with what you need to get done today?

3 insights on uncertainty, from others.

Remember that there is no certainty in science or philosophy or any other discipline where the growth of knowledge is a possibility.
Karl Popper

It pays to keep an open mind, but not so open your brains fall out.
Carl Sagan

We must let go of the life we have planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us.
Joseph Campbell
