A Practice of Distraction

At the start of a day
of beginning to do your best work,
your first order of business
is a disciplined practice
of distraction.

Your focus
is unparalleled.

You started
at an unplanned beginning,

distraction
reprioritizes
priority.

Who are you to
stand in the way of
progress today?

And just as you started,
finding a way
to get out of your way,
you begin the day again
for the first time…

priority
deprioritizes
distraction.
